Climbing

Chaffee county is more well known for 14er climbing and peak bagging than technical rock or ice climbing.  However, there is good rock and ice climbing in the area.  We can help you figure out where to go for a day at the crags, or swinging picks into a frozen falls.  Our climbing department is not as extensive as shops closer to more climbing, but we stock the basics to get you out there climbing.  Gear from Black Diamond and La Sportiva.  Good selection of local guide books.
